Gloria Gaynor burst on to the Disco charts in 1973 with “Never Can Say Goodbye” making history as the first dance music song to reach No. 1. Ever since, Gloria has been keeping up that standard. Also the first to record an album specifically for clubs, her music has influenced a generation of dance music from the 1970’s to present day.

Her popularity is evident in the recognition Gloria regularly receives. In 2002 she was honoured at the World Music Awards in Monte Carlo with the Legend Award and starring in the longest running musical revue on Broadway “Smokey Joe’s Café”.
